Architecture team
Position: Mechanical Engineer
Position code: MMME
Want to build the future? We are seeking a mechanical engineer with 5 or 7+ years of industry experience to help build our next wave of products. The position is located in New Orleans, LA and will require some travel to Taiwan.
As a member of an advanced architecture team, you will have the opportunity to help define next-generation architectures, research new materials and processes and help establish designs and processes for improving manufacturability and time to market. Close interaction is required with a variety of disciplines, including EE and ID and other ME.
A successful candidate should have:
* 7+ years experience designing and shipping challenging and cutting-edge consumer products with demonstrated major innovation ("firsts") along the way
* 5+ years experience designing complex thin-wall housings with focus on design for manufacturability
* Vast understanding of key components (LCDs, batteries) and the leading suppliers of those components
* Deep understanding of materials, properties and processes
* Extensive experience working with suppliers to help them optimize their processes to achieve specific goals
Innovation team
Position: Software Developer

Are you interested in helping deliver the next generation of applications and services for mobile devices and cell phones? The Innovation branch of Microsite Mobile America is researching, designing, and developing the next generation of client applications for cutting edge mobile devices. The software engineering division is responsible for pushing these new mobile platforms to the next level of performance, battery management, visual polish, and usability. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on features ranging from 2D and 3D rendering architectures, client application development, research into new hardware/software interactions, external tool and SDK development, and much more. You can help influence the direction of the hardware and software platforms, as we are responsible for helping define what goes into new mobile devices given our understanding of the latest trends, directions, and available features for mobile devices. If you are a passionate developer with a love for pushing a platform to its very limits, there is really no other group to work in.
A successful candidate should have:
* Strong C/C++ coding skills
* Experience with the Win32 API programming model and client application development
* A background working on limited resource platforms and/or embedded devices
* An aptitude and motivation to update that background with low-level details of an ever-changing embedded hardware ecosystem
* Experience with large, complex, existing code bases is beneficial
* Knowledge and experience developing on Windows Mobile and/or Unix operating systems is a plus
* You will be expected to lead initiative development, so excellent communication and collaboration skills are required
* BA/BS or MS in Computer Science, or an equivalent educational experience, as well as 3-5 years of industry experience

Position: Financial Analyst
A fast growing international high-tech company is looking for a Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and projecting the financial performance of the American region in comparison to established goals; identifying, accessing and communicating issues affecting profitability and work flow efficiency. He/She may work with sales teams, outside auditors, vendors, and customers on special projects as well.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Performs a variety of financial studies to analyze and report interrelationships of sales and marketing financial data;
* Determines validity of data and provides supporting explanations of conclusions reached;
* Uses data to project future short- and long-term scenarios and anticipated results;
* May support financial analysis/reporting and integrity of financial data by developing financial systems and models, establishing controlled financial transaction processing through global corporate administrative platforms, or providing technical support in the production of reports/analyses;
* Works on basic to more complex financial analyses assignments or projects;
* Prepares financial reports by downloading information from single or multiple sources, complies databases and formulates spreadsheets;
* Conducts/ coordinates research and/or participates in special studies, models complex future short- and long-term financial results, reconciles actual results against projections, and explains variances;
* Interfaces with Controller and other senior management personnel;
* Performs special projects as directed.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business is required;
* Advanced degree, CPA or MBA preferred;
* Three to five years of financial analysis experience;
* Ability to model complex business questions/issues;
* Understands and managing marketing ROI;
* Working knowledge of accounting concepts, principles, and practices.
* High tech or telecom industry experience preferred
